Im trying to open a door with the pulley but everytime I try it doesent work. I set the trigger to switch and I use the furniture 0 with it but it doesent open the door and also the chain just keeps on moving down into the floor. What am I doing wrong?

This might sound obvious, but you have set the door to the same trigger square as the one with the switch on it?

yeah I did that but like I said the chain keeps moving after I have pulled it and it doesent activate the trigger for the door.

Try not setting the trigger as switch.

Just place the two pieces on the same square then set the trigger for the door to that square.

That would work but then again I wouldnt need the pulley at all if the door could be opened by simply steping on a square. Is there a sample wad where the pulley is used so that I can get an idea?

Try the Settomb wad, somewhere near the torches puzzle to get the sands of time...

Ok I checked the settomb wad and the trigger type for the pulley is set to switch so I guess i'll try it again but I know I done this before. If it doesent work I will post again.

Here's how I got this to work.

Set the trigger for the pulley to switch type and turn on One Shot. Also enter 1 in the OCB window for the pulley.

Thanks Hagar it worked 100%....You are def a tomb raider and a reliable source. But it says nothing about this code bit 1 stuff in the manual per page 87,,,check it out. And thanks again....like a million. Would you happen to know how to split a flyby cam sequence into 4 switches? Everytime I try to do it the cam starts after the first switch is pulled.....help if you can.
